Featuring an insole graphic of Bryant and DeRozan.
It looks as if Toronto Raptors all-star guard DeMar DeRozan is on the verge of receiving yet another pair of signature Kobe kicks. Earlier this month, DeRozan was presented with a fire red Kobe 1 Protro PE, with this new Player Exclusive coming in the form of the Nike Kobe A.D. Mid.
Spotted above in varying shades of blue, the uppers take on a scaly snake-like pattern — artistically referencing Kobe Bryant’s Black Mamba moniker — with a stitched Swoosh hitting the side and gold branding found on the tongue. The insole tells a whole different story, with a graphic image mashup of Bryant in his Olympics jersey and DeRozan sporting his Toronto uniform, alluding to the “10/10” emblem on the heel. Although details remain vague, it is believed that these new Nike models will receive a drop date soon.
